APOA

 

 Any Albuquerque Police Officer that is a member of the APOA

is eligible for the following benefits through Aflac:

Accident Plan: Coverage is 24 hours, on or off the job. Benefits are paid directly to the policyholder. $26.52 per month (individual). Family Coverage is also available.

Short-term Disability: Protects up to 60% of income for off-the-job disability and/or sickness. Rates vary depending upon income, age, and requested monthly benefit. It is as low as 30.42 per month.

Lump Sum Cancer and Critical Illness- Pays lump sum at the time of diagnosis, 10k up to 30k. Policyholder's chooses the payout at the time of application.

These premiums have to be setup to pay Aflac directly wheter it is through bank draft, credit card, debit card, etc. These are not payroll deductions through the city of Albuquerque.
